How to make a six pointed Snowflake

First take a square piece of paper.  Fold it in half like this:

Then from about a third of the way in make a shape like this:

Then fold it over from the other side so it’s in line like this:

Then fold in half…

… and cut to make into a more regular shape that looks like this:

Now to cut into a snow flake shape:

And…

You should have something a bit like this!
