Naomi is getting back into her geography project book and we thought it would be fun to finish off the African theme with a mini project of all the countries of Africa. We did find this link which looks like a lot of fun. We are hoping to start next week by listing all 47 of the countries with their flags! Should be fun!
HB made a necklace too which was lovely, especially when she allowed her baby sister to wear it.
Oh, Oh, Oh! I got to see my new baby Nephew by chance! Oh, he is so small and so perfect! One of the most beautiful babies I think I've ever seen. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos today but we are having a family get together soon, so hopefully there will be one soon. I must try hard not to get broody!
I did by this book as it was recommended by a friend. I don't normally like these series but she assures me it's a good one. So far I have had a little chuckle, so I'm looking forward to reading some more of it.
We just pottered around town for the rest of the afternoon, window shopping mainly, which was nice. HB saw the pastries stall at the market and got hungry at the sight of it so I gave her 50p for a cheese straw and I was astounded at how amazing her communication skills are when it comes to buying and asking for things from strangers. All her manners were there and she spoke clearly and politely. So sweet to watch.
Then tonight Chiara and I made apple pie! We must be greedy piggies as most of it has already gone!
that really looks very yummy :) sounds like a fun day x
