Lego, stories and imagination...

Today was today.  We did get the lego out...

Yes that is fake poo!

Honi finished her story today too.  Short and sweet!  So cute.  The first ever story shes written from beginning to end.  I am so proud of her.

One of my favourite moment of the day was this...

Honi was playing taxi driver, Harmonie reading in the back seat!  I love when kids play like this!  It's the best.  When I asked what they were doing they just replied 'we're using our imaginations mummy'  I smiled and said Oh, sounds fun, I'll leave you too it and then snapped this photo when they weren't looking!

  2. That's so lovely - am all nostalgic now! My youngest could always be heard with a running dialogue of 'stories' related to whatever she was playing with; Lego, little figures, bits of stick! I had to be very careful not to spoil her imaginative genius by making her write them down - learnt my lesson the hard way with that one! xx

  3. Wonderful colors and organic natural forms. Reminds me of a painting like Rainy landscape, by Russian painter Kandinsky, http://EN.WahooArt.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-8EWL66, that I saw at wahooart.com, from where one can order a canvas print of it. Really good place to browse the painter’s work and other work similar to your style of painting.
