Honi finished her story today too. Short and sweet! So cute. The first ever story shes written from beginning to end. I am so proud of her.
One of my favourite moment of the day was this...
Honi was playing taxi driver, Harmonie reading in the back seat! I love when kids play like this! It's the best. When I asked what they were doing they just replied 'we're using our imaginations mummy' I smiled and said Oh, sounds fun, I'll leave you too it and then snapped this photo when they weren't looking!

ReplyDeleteThat's so lovely - am all nostalgic now! My youngest could always be heard with a running dialogue of 'stories' related to whatever she was playing with; Lego, little figures, bits of stick! I had to be very careful not to spoil her imaginative genius by making her write them down - learnt my lesson the hard way with that one! xx
